The department Thoracic and vascular surgery focusses on a multidisciplinary management of acute and elective aortic pathology, heritable or acquired (incl infected) using open, endovascular and hybrid techniques, using durable and innovative technology in a modern setting.
Also on the multidisciplinary approach of acute and chronic peripheral arterial disease including diabetic foot, limb threatening ischaemia, visceral, renal and carotid pathology.
In addition they provide minimal invasive treatment of thoracic and tracheal pathology (robot assisted), venous and kidney transplant.
