The pediatric cardiology department focuses on treating children with congenital and acquired heart defects, drawing on the highest possible level of expertise and the latest treatment methods. To this end, the department conducts extensive research in cardiogenetics, interventional pediatric cardiology, psychosocial support, exercise physiology and rhythmology. The department also implements the latest innovations on an evidence-based level for children with congenital heart defects.
