Orthopedics and Traumatology

The Orthopedics and Traumatology research group focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions of the musculoskeletal system. These abnormalities can be congenital, but can also arise later due to, for example, an accident, overload or degeneration, or a tumor. The research group applies the latest IT-assisted applications and is strongly committed to fundamental, translational and clinical research, preserving a patient-specific approach towards both  conditions and treatments.
