Core Extracellular Vesicles (EV), located in the Core building on the Ghent University Hospital (UZ Gent) campus, offers the research community expertise, optimized tools, and state-of-the-art technologies to support research on extracellular vesicles and particles. Core EV will be the first of its kind in Belgium and will provide services for the preparation, characterization, and analysis of extracellular vesicles and particles.
Services
- Preparation of extracellular vesicles: laminar air flow table top centrifuge, asymmetric flow field flow fractionation, automated liquid handler, high speed centrifuge and ultracentrifuge.
- Characterization of extracellular vesicles: nanoparticle tracking analysis, multi-angle light scattering with fluorescence detector, and super resolution microscopy.
- Besides infrastructure, we offer: training, consultation and full service in extracellular vesicle
