BIOMARKED acts as the point of contact for establishing partnerships with companies, developing commercialisation strategies for licensing or setting up spin-offs, and devising strategies for IP protection and technology transfer.
There is a specific focus on pre-clinical research and commercialisation of the following biomarker-related expertise: omics technology and platform technology (for the identification and validation of biomarkers and for early drug discovery and delivery), biomarkers for diagnostic use and diagnostic tools, extracellular vesicle expertise, ASO therapy for eye diseases, and pre-clinical models for oncology.
BIOMARKED supports the service core facilities: DigPCR, EV-Core, Core, GLIM, NXTGNT.
